New.

What’s your word of the year?

My word for 2021 is “NEW” – after praying and thinking about what my word will be for 2021, this was the word God gave me. I kept hearing “new” and it just would stick out to me. I am already seeing this word as truth for 2021 as we’re moving into a new apartment the end of this month.

In Isaiah 43, it says to look forward to a new thing because God is “making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” It may have felt like 2020 was a wasteland or wilderness in so many ways. Maybe your community or friendships have felt like the wilderness – you’ve felt lonely. Be encouraged! He is making a way in that wilderness and bringing streams to the areas of your life that feel dried up. Pray about those areas and watch God’s work. We have so much to look forward to in 2021, with anticipation, as the Creator of the Universe is making “everything new.”

How will your mindset in 2021 be made new? What new things are you believing God for in 2021? What is your “one word” for 2021? It will be eye-opening and fun to look back at the end of the year to see how God brought your one word to life.

Sending my love,

Gayle

What new things are you believing God for in 2021?

Truths for today:

Isaiah 43:18-19 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
