Play Time with Grace.

Best toys for a two year old girl according to Grace:

  1. Wooden Play Mixer and Cake Pop ShopGrace uses her mixer to make her “treats” for her pretend bakery.  She loves “baking” cake pops, macaroons, cupcakes, and cookies and giving them out.  These are perfect for our little baker and foodie!
  2. Play Tea Set.  Grace and I like to enjoy some tea with our macaroons. We also love virtual tea time with grandma on FaceTime!
  3. American Girl Bitty Baby Doll. This was actually given to me over 20 years ago. It’s so fun to see my little girl playing with the doll that I loved so much growing up.
  4. Picnic Set. Stuck at home? Indoor picnic! We sometimes invite our stuffed animals to join us.
  5. LeapFrog Laptop. I love how this toy is educational: alphabet, letter sounds, music, numbers, and animal facts.
  6. Duplo Legos. We play with Legos many hours each week. It’s awesome to see Grace’s imagination and creativity run wild. Minnie Mouse, Belle and the bedroom set are her favorites. She was so excited the first time she saw pink and purple Duplos because we only had Hudson’s yellow construction sets before that.
  7. Disney Princess Castle. Grace is all into sparkles, pink things and princesses. This is a cute toy for little girls who love princesses.
  8. Stickers. Just like her mama, Grace is a big fan of crafts and loves doing projects, like decorating her homemade books with stickers. We also love reusable stickers! She can pick out her princess outfits with this Melissa and Doug reusable sticker book.
  9. Micro Mini Scooter. It wasn’t a love at first ride toy but now she loves scooting with Hudson. It’s worth the investment for how often she rides.
  10. FurReal Puppy. She loves this cute talking puppy!  Giggles are heard when this puppy is played with.

And honestly, she loves playing with anything Hudson is playing with like diggers, trains and dinosaurs.

I wrote this post because I get asked so often what toys or gifts I’d recommend for little girls. Hope it inspires new ideas for you to do with your little ones in your life during this pandemic!

What are your little girl’s favorite toys? I’d love to hear ideas – for example, we’re in the market for a toy kitchen. Any suggestions? Let me know on Instagram!

Sending my love,
