Play Hard with Hudson.
Best gift for a three year old boy according to Hudson:
- Little CAT Diggers with Kinetic Sand. I asked why and he said, “because I love how they can build stuff.” Endless hours of exploration and play with these. Kinetic sand is easy to clean up too unlike regular sand.
- Duplo LEGOS. I can’t tell you how many hours we’ve spent playing LEGOS. The construction sets are his favorites. His wish list includes the new construction that was just released.
- Play Dinosaurs Figures. These come with us to the park, the bathtub and everywhere in between.
- Construction Trucks, CAT construction, Tonka trucks and Build-a-Truck are among his favs.
- Hot Wheels cars. These are not only great for playing with but also fun to roll them through paint and then drive them on paper to see their tracks.
- Micro Mini Scooter. This has been a big hit for Hudson this summer and he’s picked it up so quickly with the easy steer.
- Melissa and Doug Reusable sticker scene. You can create endless scenes using all different stickers. The first day Hudson got the prehistoric collection, he literally played with them for 9 hours. I’m not joking!
- Melissa and Doug Construction Set. We love that these are wood and they fit on BRIO or IKEA train tracks.
- Tegu Blocks. Magnetic wooden blocks that we build houses, animal pens and other buildings. Great quality.
I wrote this post because I get asked so often what toys or gifts I’d recommend for boys Hudson’s age. Hope it inspires new ideas for you to do with the little ones in your life during this pandemic!
